Founded in 1987, Ballet Jörgen is a national organization headquartered in Toronto that is focused on making the arts accessible for all Canadians. Known for the warmth and beauty of its productions, Canada’s Ballet Jörgen is the 2011 winner of The National Arts Centre Award for Distinguished Contribution to Touring, the first Ontario Performing Arts Organization to win this award. In 2019 Artistic Director & CEO Bengt Jörgen was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada “for his commitment to promoting ballet in Canada as a choreographer and artistic director.”

Eh! Celebration of Dance is a fun mixed program that will showcase excerpts from major classical ballets such as Cinderella, The Nutcracker and our smash hit Anne of Green Gables - The Ballet®, along with exciting new contemporary works by Canadian choreographers. Fast paced, entertaining, and thought provoking; this program of classical and contemporary ballets is perfect for the entire family.
