Meaford Dragons Return

Meaford Chamber of Commerce’s “Dragons” is an exciting annual event where local new and expanding entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to a panel of local "Dragons" in the quest for serious rewards. Since its inception in 2008, Dragons has assisted over 60 entrepreneurs with over $260,000 in cash and prizes. This year's event will be hosted by comedian Evan Carter who has opened for such performers as Gladys Knight, The Temptations, Air Supply and Dionne Warwick. He has also worked alongside such Canadian comedy icons as Dave Broadfoot and Don Harron. With a lightly catered intermission featuring local foods and budding chefs included in the price of admission, the business of starting a business has never been more deliciously entertaining.
