written by Jason Murphy with musical book written by Jason Murphy and John Eaton 100 Years from Now – A live production musical of Love, Sacrifice and the Great War that tells the remarkable true story of WWI nursing sister and local Georgian Bay area resident, Mae Belle Sampson, the first woman to enlist in the Canadian Army Medical Corp. In letters to family and each other, the MacIntyre brothers and nursing student Mae Belle Sampson tell the stories of their lives and dreams before Flanders. When war comes, their correspondence becomes a record of the conflict that would change their fates and forge modern Canada. Blending original songwriting with stirring archival imagery and dramatic storytelling, 100 Years from Now, is a magical journey from the Great Lakes to Vimy Ridge and beyond. Presented by Meaford Hall.
